Shaker With Twist - David Hall

Introduction

Not all of our kitchens are ultra modern, this in-frame Shaker style kitchen incorporates traditional values, proportions and craftsmanship with timeless features such as butt hinges and iron handles.

Process

By varying the heights above the counter and depth we created visual interest at the same time as making wall cabinets easily accessible. Extra deep granite worktops are perfect pastry making spaces.

Dovetail drawers hand made in solid oak add traditional materials, detail, authenticity and quality craftsmanship to the kitchen.

Finished Project

It takes real care and attention to detail to achieve this level of finish. The worktops are in Blue Star Ganite from a local supplier, the handles are a contemporary take on a cup handle and have a lovely organic feel.
