Introduction
This beautiful kitchen is finished in white lacquer and Zebrano veneer. Featuring a pure white sculptural island, stainless steel and glass detailing, it is a lovely calm, linear and restful space.
Process
The wall elevation is all about purity of line, horizontal dynamics and subtle detailing, appearing to hang from the lighting raft, with a stainless steel sling containing the doors.
The Zebrano veneered pod appears suspended from the Corian island and contains hob controls for the flush mount gas hob, wine cooler, cupboards and drawers.
Finished Project
We wanted the island to comprise of 3 very definite pieces – the dramatic and dynamic Corian structure, the Zebrano ‘pod’ and the glass slab on the end.
The lighting raft flows throughout both elevations and returns to the floor, framing the full height cabinetry and linking the elevations together.
