Introduction

We made this bed with Santos Rosewood veneers laid vertically and horizontally to create a dramatic headboard. The headboard also conceals a sliding door that glides across to separate bedroom from the en suite beyond.

Finished Project

There is something very luxurious about a bath centrally located in a room and this photo also demonstrates the clever use of lighting both ambient and task to create atmosphere and accentuate the lines of the furniture.

Cabinet doors are dressed in Scottish hide to match the bed and wardrobes. The chunky counter top with undermounted sinks is veneered in Rosewood, and the glass spashback continues the asymmetry of the design.
