What is the price of a bespoke kitchen designed by David Hall? It is a common question asked for good reason. There are no price tags and as no 2 projects are the same, it is difficult to guess, but broadly, our pricing structure is formed by the cost of materials and fittings and the time it takes to make your furniture – this equation will be the cost of your bespoke cabinets.
So if you want a simple, clean lined handless painted kitchen in our Signature Style, your bespoke kitchen will be very affordable to most people. If you want some wood accents, this will add to the cost, as will numerous internal storage wireworks, and landmark features such as a breakfast cabinet with retracting pocket doors.
Because we only use the best quality internal fittings, hinges, drawer runners etc, these can add to the cost of your bespoke kitchen from a few hundred, to a couple of thousand pounds. Fewer of these items will make your kitchen more affordable. If you have a very large kitchen, there will be more cabinets, so more cost.
Our Shaker Style kitchens are typically made in very hard-wearing Ash – solid timbers and veneers, which involves a lot of work, and therefore adds to the cost of your kitchen. We also have a Diffusion Shaker range, that features traditional jointing techniques, using mdf as a substrate, and can give clients the best of both worlds without the hefty price tag.
If you love premium quartz or granite worktops, this is a big ticket item that will be reflected in the cost of your bespoke kitchen, again, this cost centre can be judiciously managed by choice of materials, and detailing. However being realistic, if you have a gorgeous large kitchen with an island and lots of worksurface, this will come at a cost, but your horizontal surfaces are a very important component of your handmade kitchen, whether your style is Shaker or Handless.
Appliances are another big ticket item and premium brands will come at a cost, but you can manage this item by economising on the appliances that are fully integrated making your bespoke kitchen more affordable. Where possible, we match highly competitive internet prices for all appliances, and do not mark these up to our clients.
So how much will your bespoke kitchen cost? You will be buying it direct from the maker. We have no expensive showrooms to support, or sales agents. We are a niche company providing an artisan product, beautifully made by somebody who really cares. We can be as aspirational as you are, with beautiful materials and intricate design, such as in our Suffolk Kitchen, or work to your budget creating beauty and simplicity without cutting corners on quality or design.
So to get to the point, a typical price for a painted Signature handless kitchen, cabinets only, including 9 drawers and integrated bin and larder may start from around £15,000. Allow around £5,000 each for appliances, worktop, and installation gives a starting price for a handmade bespoke kitchen by David Hall to around £30,000. All including VAT.
We understand that this is a significant investment, and that your kitchen is such a very important room for our clients – to have a great kitchen is to have the chance of a better life. We are open and transparent with our costs and will always seek to work constructively with our clients to ensure they get the very best value for money. Choose wisely, choose well, choose for the long term.
